Message from the President

Dear Colleagues,

The past few months have been very eventful for our society. Firstly a National level workshop and seminar was conducted by Dr. Shekar with the active participation by surgical society and Rajiv Gandhi University. Secondly The Millennium Surgeons Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. You will find a full report on this colorful function elsewhere in this bulletin. All these achievements would not have been possible but for the support of my colleagues in the executive committee, advice and guidance by the senior surgeons and of course the active involvement of the members. We have much more to do during the next few months, the most important of which is the C.M.E. programme. Preparations are already a foot and I request all of you to help us in organizing this programme which should be remembered as one of the best. The bulletin is a vital vehicle of communication amongst the members and I hope the information provided will be useful.

With best wishes
Dr. Gopinath
