MESSAGE

Surgical Society of Bangalore, that is, The Association of Surgeons of India, Bangalore Branch, is observing the Millennium Surgeons' Day in a grand Manner. To commemorate the occasion a Directory of Surgeons of Bangalore is being Published. This directory, I am sure, will serve as a guide to all Surgeons for inter institutional references whenever they have problems while treating the patients. I m confident that it will receive the coveted place on a surgeons desk for many years.

Let not the Millennium Surgeon's Day be just another day of celebration. I am, sure the Surgeons of Bangalore will contemplate on this occasion and think seriously about their own short comings and failures, the ills that have plagued the profession and fall in the ethical standards. They themselves have to find solutions, earlier they do so, the better.

Let us on this day rededicate ourselves to do our bit to lift the profession to its pristine glory !
